BMW Brake Discs, resurface or replace?
Resurfacing brake discs is common and acceptable. Key points to remember, brake disc must not go below minimum spec which is stamped on the brake disc. Also brake disc can be resurfaced only once for its entire life span and only on car brake lathe should be utilized.
Hope this helps, BMWTECHELP

Run Flat tires
Hi everybody there is a lot of myths that run flat tires that have a puncture can be repaired? DO NOT repair a punctured run flat tire, you have driven on the tire with low tire pressure for numerous miles, therefore over stressing the tire sidewall and damaging the tire. It is recommended by most tire manufactures to replace and not repair.

Low mileage oil service
When your BMW dealer completes a low mileage oil service make sure they do not reset the oil service. If they do perform a reset it will incorrectly calculate the rest of your services then a manual correction has to be performed.

BMW OBD readiness codes
How frustrating is it when you go for your state emission inspection and the station tells you that, hey your OBD readiness codes are not set so you need to drive it some more to set the readiness codes. Very simple drive between 20 mph and 30 mph for 4 minutes and then speed up and maintain a speed of 55 for 20 minutes and all your readiness codes will set.
